ISPACS 2017 technical program will include a series of Special Sessions. Prospective organizers are invited to submit the proposal, with the goal of bringing together new or emerging topics of particular interests to the signal processing and communication systems field. Proposals will be evaluated based on the topic and the qualifications of the organizers and the contributed papers.
Prospective organizers of Special Sessions need to submit the proposal including the following information:
  • Title
  • Short brief of the session, including the motivation, novelty and impact
  • Short biography of the organizers
  • List of at least five prospective papers (including titles, authors, and contact information of the corresponding authors)
Deadline for special session:
  • 20 July 2017  27 July 2017 - Deadline for Special Session Proposal
  • 31 July 2017  10 August 2017 - Deadline for Submission of Full Paper (Midnight, International data line)
  • 10 September 2017  15 September 2017 - Notification of Paper Acceptance
  • 20 September 2017  30 September 2017 - Deadline for Submission of Camera Ready Paper
  • 20 September 2017  30 September 2017 - Deadline for Author Registration
Upon the approval of the Special Session proposal, the authors are required to submit the full paper to the related Special Session track. All the contributed papers should conform to the format and electronic submission guidelines of regular ISPACS papers.
It is the responsibility of the organizers to make sure the quality of their special session papers. If papers in the special session are rejected, the proper accepted papers in the Regular Program will selected as substitutes. If there are no proper substitutes and the accepted papers in a special session is less than 4, the session may be cancelled and the accepted papers will then be moved to regular sessions.
